Covenant Evangelical Ministries

CHILDREN MINISTRY AND CHILD CARE

Manages recruitment of kids for the Sunday School and arranges childcare for regular and special activities of
our Church.

Responsible for the catering for all Church-wide Functions.

CHURCH FINANCE AND SUNDAY SCHOOL HEAD

Sister Almarancha Fillies

Monitors the financial resources and records of our Church; plans, presents and
executes church budget; oversees receipt and expenditure policies of our church. Also ensures that the
child ministry is well managed. Our Sunday morning Sunday school is exciting and specifically designed with children in mind

MEDIA and RECREATION

Brother Gershan Cairncross

Responsible for maintenance of audio-visual equipment as well as media production and presentation.
Develops and organize recreation opportunities for our Church and visitors

OUTREACH and PUBLICITY

Sister Frances Adams

Manages our Church’s evangelistic outreach to the immediate community and making them
aware of our Church’s ministries and events.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS AND PRAISE AND WORSHIP LEADER

Sister Desiree Arendse

Her responsibilities include correspondence, answering the phone, reminding the pastor and his wife of birthdays, marriage celebrations or any other important matter surrounding the congregation. Maintaining a register of the Covenant family, tracking attendance, doing outreach activities, and assist the website administrator to update the website. She generally works very closely with the pastor and his wife. Beautifies the worship center and assists with arrangements for regular and special services.

YOUTH

Oversees the direction, growth, and development of youth in general and in our church.

COMMUNITY CARE

Sister Valery Nel


The community care ministry of the church exists to offer hope, help, and growth in times of pain or crisis. Sister Valery operates the unit, which is located at the church. Areas of assistants include: rental evictions, electric disconnects, etc. Other assistance includes sending children to camps, providing schools supplies, and a Christmas give away program.
